Juliano’s Interior Products has been serving the automotive industry since 1969 when Bob Juliano bought his first industrial sewing machine and began his auto upholstery business. A few years later, auto body was added to offer a complete round of services. These talents are evident in the many award winning hot rods that Bob designed and built over the next 40 plus years including his chopped 32 Ford 3-window coupe and 1951 Ford woodie wagon, “Nifty-1”.Bob and Marcia Juliano first became interested in hydrographics in 2003 in order to add woodgrain finishes to their distinctive line of custom steering wheels. In 2005, they installed in-house water transfer equipment and sent staff to school to be trained and certified in the process. Those who fell in love with the beauty of their woodgrained steering wheels also wanted to be able to extend that look throughout their vehicles to include dashboards, glove box doors, ashtrays, garnish moldings, gear shift knobs and more.
The premier custom hot rod builders in the industry today who utilize Juliano’s woodgrain service for their customers include Roy Brizio Hot Rods, Steve’s Fabrications, Posie’s, Lawson’s Motorsports and Pete’s Fabrication as well as many discerning individuals.
Woodgraining is just part of what we are able to do with hydrographics. We can apply a carbon fiber finish in a variety of patterns and tints to interior trim or even valve covers which is especially popular with the newer “street machines”. We have also applied camouflage finishes to hunting rifles and skull collages to sporting helmets to name a few. The possibilities are limited only to the imagination.
